The International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC) is an international operating non-governmental organisation serving and protecting uprooted people – refugees, internally displaced persons and migrants –regardless of faith, race, ethnicity or nationality. In the framework of an agreement with UNHCR, ICMC has been designated to recruit and deploy a Project Support Officer to work with UNHCR Greece, which has undertaken to implement an initiative designed to support the Greek authorities in efforts to enhance capacity and quality of asylum procedures in the context of the implementation of the Greek Action Plan on Migration Management and Asylum Reform. UNHCR’s operation in Greece will comprise staff and affiliate workforce to carry out refugee status determination functions in first and second instance, as well as staff to engage in specific capacity building activities in support of the asylum system at large.
